redwood forest

The history of the forest dates back to the 40s of the 20th century. It has an extension of 2.5 hectares and has some 850 specimens of Sequoias with an average height of 40 meters and an average perimeter of the trunks of 2 meters. It is a forest of "baby redwoods", since this species can reach more than 1,000 years and measure about 115 meters in height, as the highest specimen with 115.55 meters called Hyperion, located in Redwood National Park, to the north of San Francisco (California).
